Even for the most politically disinterested amongst us it is difficult to avoid the machinations of the three main parties at this time of year as they all head of for their annual field trip away from Westminster.
In years gone by this annual trip to the seaside led to many a comical picture of party leaders frolicking on the beach – remember Neil Kinnock in 1992 anyone? – but recently the conferences have taken on a far more businesslike approach and driven a path inland inland to major city locations.
This year Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester play host to the big three and the NLA has set out its stall at all three by asking the question: “Where would we be without UK landlords?”
As is customary the Liberal Democrats were up first in the Midlands, for those of you who missed out here is a taster of the discussion:
More videos of this and our event at the Labour Party conference will follow shortly, but it is not too late to attend the final debate in Manchester on 4th October at the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) – more details can be found HERE.
